Stefano

Stefano is our partner and passionate tour driver/guide here at Tours in Wonderland.

Born in Torino, a city in the northwestern region of Piedmont, Italy, he earned a degree from the hotel and restaurant management college of Torino.

After a few years of working in the food and beverage industry in Italy, Germany and England, he had the opportunity to join a prestigious international cultural exchange program with Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

There Stefano sharpened his restaurant management skills for almost 2 years. He then made his way to Atlanta , Georgia , when the Ritz Carlton Hotel corporation  invited him to participate in their Restaurant management training program.

Stefano continued his career by joining the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group of Atlanta where he was appointed as Food and Beverage manager at one of the company’s many high end restaurants.

During the last 10 years of his permanence in the US, Steano opened and owned several successful Italian eateries in the Atlanta and Athens areas.

In 2015, Stefano crowned his lifelong dream of living in Tuscany, where he soon moved and became a professional wine country tour guide. Stefano’s new endeavor gives him a unique opportunity to share his passion for Italian culture, wine and food with the most discriminating clientele from all over the world.

I really enjoyed that, with the other part of my life. Agriculture.

I graduated from Florence University, viticulture and enology major and I’m working as consultant for some wineries around Seinise and Florentian Province and I decided to combine my two huge passions in a perfect match. I know and love my land and the fruits that it can give and the best farms who work ethically around the territory, through developing solid relationships with them. Everyplace that we offer in our tours is somewhere I’ve been to because we want to talk about places that we know. I’m personally working my way around Tuscany, you know that if we’ve introduced a destination, we can tell for sure what to expect!
